I felt is was important to write review about simple tire. The positive: They have very competitive prices. I have been working with simple tire for almost 2 months now and man do they make it difficult to change out a defective tire. So here is my issue, I purchased 4 tires not expensive $120 each. Had them put on my wheels and had issue with balance with one of tires. Tried 2 different installers/balancer tire shops, they were not able to give me details on issue with tire except it was out of round. Finally took it to another shop that had a roadforce balance machine that can give you detail on the flat spot on tire. I worked with simple tire via email and that was a joke, think there was a communication issue because they kept saying they could not give me refund for tires which is not what I was asking for, I wanted tire swapped out. So I gave up on that I called them directly and was told they would open a order for issue and I never heard no reply. So I called back again, and now they are asking for 1) Install-on invoice 2) Images of the affected area on the tire 3) A recent dated Courtesy Inspection Check work-order from an authorized installer describing the issue in detail and verifying that the issue was not caused due to a road hazard incident 4) Vehicle model, make and year 5. Images of the sidewall of the tires where DOT can be seen. 6) Number of tires defective. Which I will go though this again with them in hopes to get tire exchanged. In meantime I will have to drive with a dangerous shake until this is resolved. What I have learned for this experience with simple tire. The difficulty of swapping a low cost $120 tire is a complete pain in the butt with simple tire. The customer service is a complete joke. They do not honor their tires until they beat the hell out of you. "Assuming they will exchange tire". I understand that they do not manufacture the tires, but they do represent the company that makes the tires since they sell them. I wish they would have just swapped out this one low cost tire instead of making so difficult to exchange out and make my driving experience dangerous until this is resolved.
